Zayn Malik is now dating supermodel Gigi Hadid and they have been together for over a year now. Gigi posted a candid picture of Zayn on Snapchat in which he is busy cooking chicken wings. But what the fans were more interested in was the slight peek they got of the tattoo. It looked like the erstwhile tattoo of Perrie Edwards that Zayn had on his bicep was now covered up good and extended into a tattoo sleeve. Now that the picture that Gigi posted along with the video gives us any clear idea as to what the bicep now adorns, but it most definitely is not the Perrie Edwards cartoon tattoo that used to be there since 2013.

What was just a big ode to his then fiancé Perrie Edwards, is now the perfect Zayn Malik Cover Up Tattoo, adorned with a lot of other add-ons around it, pointing to the fact that maybe Zayn has gone a totally different direction and now intends to stretch the tattoos on the right arm into a tattoo sleeve. We could not be more appreciative of the move, given the fact that the Pillowtalk star is no longer dating Perrie and things between are not on the greatest terms anymore.
Gigi’s snap came exactly a year after the power couple Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards broke up. And now that the tattoo is a Zayn Malik Cover Up Tattoo, we can safely testify that Zayn is well past the relationship. Well, Perrie is past the relationship too and in the most amazing way possible.
What Did Perrie Edwards Have To Say?
Perrie Edwards is said to have faced a tough time post the breakup but has come out strong in the aftermath. In a song that she wrote, she talks about Zayn and mocks the Zayn Malik Cover Up tattoo attempted by him.
The lyrics read as follows: “Guess I should say thank you, For the ‘hate yous’ and the tattoos, Oh baby I’m cool by the way, Ain’t sure I loved you anyway.”
One important lesson we take out of the whole episode is that nothing is forever. Not relationships and not something as permanent as a tattoo. Also, think twice before getting a picture of your significant other tattooed on your body.
